EastEnders viewers will see Friday’s episode of the soap a day early, due to Children In Need 2017 being on BBC One.
Children In Need will air from 7:30pm, meaning EastEnders will be replaced – while the cast will take part in a special segment.
Thursday’s episode will still air at 7:30pm, but a second episode will follow at 8:30pm.
This second episode will be Friday’s scenes, meaning viewers will not miss out on their usual four episodes that air each week.
Confirming the news, the official EastEnders Twitter page confirmed that there would be a double-bill.
They revealed: “That’s it for tonight! We’re back on Thursday with a double dose of #EastEnders at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on @BBCOne.”

While viewers reacted to the news, some believed the double-bill spelled trouble for Ben Mitchell.
Tuesday’s episode saw him reeling from the discovery that Kathy Beale was raped by the father of his partner Luke Browning – James Willmott-Brown.
Ben vowed to make him pay, before Luke visited him and dropped a huge bombshell on him.
With Ben, played by Harry Reid, leaving the show fans feared he might be killed by Luke or James.
Now, the predicted showdown between the pair could come sooner than thought – with one fan guessing that the hour-long episode, in two 30-minute episodes, would see James and Ben have a showdown.
They said: “Take it Ben really does try to kill Wilmott-Brown, if it's on for an hour?”
So will Ben go through with his words, or will James spell the end of Ben?
Viewers will have to tune into the show on Thursday at 7:30pm and 8:30pm to see what happens.
