Gogglebox is a hit Channel 4 show which allows TV viewers to watch families watching television.
Although a strange concept, Gogglebox has fast become one of the UK’s favourite shows, as viewers fall in love with the friends and families sitting on their sofas.
The show – which launched I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! winner Scarlett Moffatt’s career – allows normal people to be paid to sit on their sofas and give their opinions on TV.
But how much exactly do the Gogglebox stars get paid? The answer has been revealed.
The Sun Online reported that the families are given a monthly allowance of £1,500.
For this fee, the families much commit to 12 hours of filming a week, which happens across six hour shifts.
