Carrie Fisher's French bulldog is a celebrity in his own right.
So many of you will be happy to learn that the therapy dog, named Gary, will be going to a good home following the Star Wars actress' tragic passing. Thankfully, the late icon's daughter Billie Lourd will take custody of the sweet pup.
Gary brought Carrie so much comfort throughout the years, and was even by her side as she suffered from a cardiac arrest on THAT flight from London to LAX. It's said the Frenchie even visited Miz Fisher at the UCLA Medical Center. As you may recall, Gary was adopted as a service pet in order to help Debbie Reynolds' daughter deal with her bipolar disorder.
While it only seems right for the Scream Queens star to adopt Gary as her own, she already has her own French bulldog named to Tina and is worried about the added responsibility. According to TMZ, Gary and Tina are already bestiez — BUT the 24-year-old wants to make sure the two dogs will get along in the long term!
Reportedly, Carrie always wanted Billie to take custody of the cherished pooch as he was like a child to the megastar. But there's no need to fret over Gary's well being, as a family source noted that the pup WILL remain within the family no matter what.
And if this week wasn't already hard enough, the bulldog's unverified Twitter account paid a heartbreaking tribute to the When Harry Met Sally performer (below).
Someone pass us some tissues, STAT. Miss you already, Carrie!
