Another HERstory making event at the Winter Olympics.
On Tuesday in South Korea, 17-year-old Chloe Kim walked away the gold medalist in the women's halfpipe event at the PyeongChang games. Not only did this win give the U.S. its THIRD gold medal of the Olympics, but the victory also made the teenage snowboarding phenom the youngest female medalist in Olympic snowboarding history.
Wow. Just, wow. What's even more AH-Mazing is that the Olympian made her gold medal winning halfpipe run while hangry AF. She admitted on Twitter:
HIGHlarious! Understandably, Kim was emotional following her big win and even joked about it online:
LOVES it. And celebs on the internet certainly love Kim too, as many commented:
Chloe wasn't the only member of Team USA to earn a medal in snowboarding, as teammate Arielle Gold nabbed the bronze medal for the same event.
We couldn't be prouder of these powerful ladies!! Way to go!!
