Step on up, Stefflon Don. The British rapper, singer and songwriter is Apple Music's newest Up Next talent, Billboard.com can exclusively reveal.
The rising MC, anointed by Britain's The Quietus as the "Queen of the Dancehall", is already well on the way with a U.K. Top 10 single with "Hurtin’ Me” featuring French Montana, another charting single in "Ding-A-Ling featuring Skepta, and a feature on Jax Jones and Demi Lovato’s hit “Instruction.”
Through its Up Next program, Apple Music each month selects an up-and-comer to showcase and throw its considerable resources at. Previous recipients include Sigrid, Khalid and Mr. Eazi. Stefflon Don gets the nod for January 2018, and she's the first Brit to crack the list.
“Conversations with Steff are always exciting and hilarious. She doesn’t do a lot of interviews, and I learn more about her every time we talk," comments Beats 1 anchor Julie Adenuga. “She’s extremely talented, and has the ability to make any style of music she likes without losing the magic of who she is.”

To coincide with the announcement, Apple Music today premieres a new documentary short film, a and, later this evening, she’ll make her U.S. national television debut on The Late Late Show with James Corden.
