GEORGE Michael sadly passed away on Christmas Day, and was found by his boyfriend, Fadi Fawaz.
And since the Wham! singer’s tragic passing, Fadi himself has kept a particularly low profile – especially since facing hostility from George’s family and friends.
But for the first time, Fadi has laid bare his pain and heartbreak over the loss of his love in a touching poem, revealing exactly what he’s been through following what tragically happened last December.
The poem begins: "One heart decides to fail, I find myself in hell, Now I feel ashamed, One Christmas Day," with the next line reading that he "hates that day."
It continues: "I go to bed to lay, I feel more ashamed, I try to hide my head, Pillows turn to red, I lost my way, One Christmas Day."
Friends revealed he wrote the poem after being "cut off" from George’s family since his funeral, with one telling The Mirror: "Fadi feels ashamed about not being able to save George, he misses him so much.
"There is a lot of emotion coming from him at the moment and this is a medium in which he can express himself."

We take a look a George Michael's incredible life and musical legacy following his shocking death on 25 December 2016, aged 53
The news comes just weeks after the hair stylist – who is set to release a book – took to Twitter to deny reports that he wasn't welcome at his late boyfriend's funeral, which took place on Wednesday 29 March.
The former Last Christmas singer was laid to rest in a small and intimate ceremony in North London, surrounded by close friends and family.
A source told The Sun: "Fadi was allowed to attend the service, but family didn't want him at the wake afterwards.
"It wouldn't have been appropriate for him to attend. Emotions are still running extremely high."
However, the photographer hit back on Twitter, and said: "It would be just smart to get the simple facts correct about me in order to have a chance to believe what you saying is correct (sic)."
A statement released by the family read: "We can confirm that the funeral of the singer George Michael took place today. Family and close friends gathered for the small, private ceremony to say goodbye to their beloved son, brother and friend.
"George Michael's family would like to thank his fans across the world for their many messages of love and support. We ask that the family's wish for privacy be respected so that they can continue to live their lives privately, away from any media intrusion."
